[resolved] Remove Image Title Popup (3 posts)

    When you hover over almost every image in --I'm assuming "most"-- WordPress blogs, there is a pop-up that displays the file name of the image. I would like my blog to stop doing this.

    I am currently using the Arjuna Theme. I am also using the "Remove Title Attributes" plugin, but it does not remove file-name popups in images.

    I have been searching for an answer to this for a long time, and I am assuming that this can't be that unpopular of an issue. It annoys me that I cannot find an answer through either search engines or forums. I have also attempted to find the answer using Firebug, but to no avail.

    This must be a common issue. Can someone please offer me (and therefore the WordPress community) a suggestion, even if it's a guess?

    My (modified) Arjuna-themed site: http://www.sonicreboot.com

    try to add this to functions.php of your theme:

    add_filter('the_content','nuke_title_attribute');

    function nuke_title_attribute($output) {
    $output = preg_replace('/title=\"(.*?)\"/','',$output);
    return $output;
    }
