Remove iframes from sidebar widget (4 posts)

    Hi all,

I recently moved my site to WordPress and I use Adsense. I noticed that an ad placed in a Text Widget gets put into an iframe which is disallowed by Google. I also tried ads in posts but again it gets put into an iframe. Is there a way for me to remove the iframes or use ads in a widget without the iframe being placed?

    Any help much appreciated.

Been trying to fix it this morning. Just wondering how anyone uses Adsense on WordPress when the themes have frames? I might be missing something.

    what theme are you using?

are you actively coding a iframe into the sidebar text widget and add the adsense code into that?

if not, imho, the iframes are part of the code injected by google - so there is nothing you can /need to/ do about it.

    Thanks!

It's a modified version of twentyten but the only mods I've done to it is to change some colours & fonts, not added any other code or iframes. I've just placed the Google code into a standard Text widget.

I'm thinking that you're right about Google injecting it in since I've tried a number of other themes and the iframe surrounding the adsense code appears then.
