I am Using Woo Themes Canvas theme, and it asks you to create a seperate page to use the magazine and business layouts that are included. I made a page called "Home" for the magazine layout, and it worked, but now there are 2 Home links in the navigation.
I have searched these forums, and everything is about removing hard code from the header.php, but the header.php file with this theme calls upon other files (Files I cannot ascertain where they are or what they are).
Anyone know a way I can remove the default index link on Canvas 4.1.1?
Is there a custom menu feature included with the theme?
What is the website URL?

http://adamjustice.me sorry about that, I forgot to link in the original.
The theme customizations are primarily to do with styling. There is a navigation styling tab, but that is all in the Canvas menu.
Under the appearance tab there is the Menu creator that comes in wordpress, but I do not believe there is a custom menu feature.
Hmm... it's hard to say without seeing the admin panel, and the features available with the theme. If you are having to create a secondary page, for whatever reason, with the same name "Home"... then I would think there is a way to disable the "Home" page.
Again, hard to say without seeing the admin panel of the theme.

I thought the same thing too. I believe my version 1.0.1 is missing features that later versions had, like the custom menu nav.
I have looked through every panel and can't find anything and the editable .php files that there would normally be some hard code in only have php, and I can't track where it's calling to.
Can you not update your version?

I just updated the framework, but there is no way for me to update the actual theme. I no longer have access to theme updates.

I figured it out. The Custom Menu tool is in the wordpress part. I had to create a custom menu before I could set it as the primary menu. Thanks for trying to help anyway Josh!
Hmmmm... you might want to consider using another theme which can provide you with a support forum which is monitored by helpful admins. They do exist ;)
Otherwise, if you want me to take a look at your admin area and see if I can find anything... you can use my contact form here to send me admin details. http://www.joshlobe.com/contact-me/

Actually Josh, Woo Themes could be the best themes website on the Internet. The one I am using is a bonus theme my x girlfriend got for ordering some, so I don't have access to the forums, and I didn't want to call her up asking for anything.
It is nice to have forum support, but this is the first theme I have ever had so much trouble with. I checked out your site though, pretty cool. I wanted to use the social icons you have, but I specifically needed a Google+ button.
I apologize. I must have mis-understood you. I though you meant the site wasn't actively supplying updates anymore. I'm not familiar with Woo Themes.
Thanks for the compliment. I went through a lot of social icons before finally settling on those. They just look the most consistent. A lot of the other icons were different heights and different widths... just didn't have the right "feel".
