   Hi! I'd like to remove the gradient in the slider photos in the Simple Catch theme. I'm not very technical so can you also explain step-by-step how I can make the necessary changes?

   Is your site online with that theme activated? If so, could you post the link.

   No, my site isn't live yet as I'm migrating an existing site and I don't want it to be active until it's ready to go.

   Do I need the site to be active in order to remove the gradient on the slider photos on the Simple Catch theme?

   Hi conniehum,
   There is a option in theme options of simplecatch to remove the gradient. Just go to Appearance->Featured Slider->Slider effect options. You will see Disable slider background effect checkbox, just check it and the gradient is disabled.
