Remove featured images from post page

I make use of featured immages on my page. Nice feature for the home page.
My home page is static (no posts).

However when I have a seperate page for posts, also the featured immages of featured posts show up in a slide show. I want to switch that off. On the page with posts, I just want to have the posts, but no features images.

How could I do that? Does anyone has suggestoins?
