Remove featured image in only 1 category

Hello, i need some help i’m making a website with a template i bought. Its a magazine theme so it displays the featured image on the home page. Thats really cool BUT i have a category, named multimedia. I want to remove the featured image on just that category, because it makes no sense to have an image and display then a video. Id like to set a featured image so it looks good on the home but not inside.

i’d like to know if theres a way to do this .. thank you in advance
