Hi. I’m hoping someone can help me with this: I am trying to remove the extra search bar from my site, edwalsh.com. I use Vidley theme and I love the way their custom search looks. But that ugly search box in the upper right blocks my navigation bar and really bums me out. I can’t figure out where it comes from. It isn’t a widget. I’ve tried that. I thought it was from a plugin, but I’ve deactivated all my plugins and it’s still there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  • As this is a commercial theme, we cannot really help. You need to seek support from the theme vendors.

I’ve actually just done that and it turns out it isn’t the theme. I’ve deleted the theme and have activated several others and that search bar is still there. It’s there no matter what theme I use. It isn’t a widget that I can tell. I’ve put the search option in the deactivated widgets.

Never mind. I think it might be a google chrome issue. It’s actually WordPress’ Search box that drops into the webpage when I’m logge in. I don’t see it being an issue in Firefox.
