I would like to remove all but the category drop down menu from this events page.
http://erc.cals.wisc.edu/cptpmedia/events/
Can you tell me if there is an option in the settings to have the other drop downs deleted/hidden?

Hi there mj445. It looks like that’s actually the Events Manager plugin, not The Events Calendar. You’ll want to post to their forum so they can help you out here. Good luck!
