Remove dots from pagination on homepage

    Hi

    Does anyone know how to remove the dots that show up on the pagination between numbers? I want to display a number instead of the dots that show up.

    I found the code that does this in wp-includes/general-template.php but am not sure how to change this with my own function and I definitely don’t want to change the core files.
