[resolved] Remove div tag (empty whitespace) from homepage (9 posts)

    I installed the Academica theme on a client's site, oioa.biz, and hid the website theme and slogan by unchecking a checkbox. But now when I go to the site, there's a big, noticeably empty space just above the slider. I want to get rid of it.

    I've tried to delete the div tag using WP editor, but there are so many code templates, I don't know where to find it. I've used firebug to locate it, but to no avail when using editor.

    oioa.biz is not opening here.
    Can you give me valid URL where this issue belongs?

    Here's the url: http://74.220.215.226/~oiaibiz/

    I believe that because there's another oiai.biz out there, I had to be assigned the IP address and not oiai.biz. When the site's complete, I'll point the old site to this one.

    First off, setup child theme or use plugin like Custom CSS Manager.
    Then add following in it :

    .column-title {
         min-height: 0 !important;
    }

    Hey Aditya, it worked! But now I've got a space below the navbar and can't get rid of it. If it ain't one thing it's another...

    Can you give me screenshot about this 'space', because I can't find it.

    Oh hey Aditya, I fixed it. I was able to manipulate the CSS file using Filezilla. Thanks for everything.
