remove default "Place Ad" "Edit Ad" "Browse Ad" ..

    hello again,

    I need to know whether I can remove default “Place Ad” “Edit Ad” “Browse Ad” buttons from for example “search ads” page, cause i inserted the “search ads” into side bar to let visitors search ad momentarily from “browse ads” page and “classifieds” page. the matter is that it is not nice to have them all in small side bar, they create mess there.

    So I would be happy to remove them from sear ads page to have a simple page in my side bar.

    Hi Dddt,

    You can hide the links for these items to an extent under Classifieds->Settings, General tab (look under “Menu Items”). You can’t (and shouldn’t hide) all of them, otherwise your directory becomes inaccessible.

    Those pages are used to help display and add data to your directory, some can be removed (for example, setting ‘Only Admin Can Place Ads” will remove Place Ad/Edit Ad). Browse Ads is a general directory one, so that’s not something easily removed in the settings. If you’re really bent on getting rid of it, I’d suggest custom CSS.
