    Hello

I apologise if this has been asked elsewhere, but I searched and didn't find the answer to my specific question- that is:

How can I actually remove certain information from the dashboard? I don't want to display wordpress news or development blog.

None of the plugins I have tried seem to be able to achieve this due to being out of date or overly complex.

You can easily move the blocks around, but why didn't the developers add the ability to remove selected blocks?

    Thanks for assistance.

At the top of your dashboard, click on 'screen options' and a panel opens allowing you to choose what sections to show.
