All of earlier websites are fine but just started new website, downloaded WP. Marked site to static home. On earlier versions I could toggle comments on/off per page. On this version, there is no discussion option on pages. Does anyone know where they put this option?

Check in the upper right corner, screen options.

Check in the upper right corner, screen options. Also, you can see the option in the "quick edit" for each pages.
