remove Categories (circle w/ Plus sign) drop-down from home page

How do I remove Categories (circle w/ Plus sign) drop-down menu from home page at http://bordercrossingmusic.net/. I want to remove the circle graphic as well.

The drop-down menu I am referring to is immediately below the circle images.
