Hi, I have a blog that is using a Twenty Eleven Child Theme. After updating to v3.5, the bio box started to appear on each post. I looked up how to remove this on the support forum but the answers never seem to apply to me.

    a) I cannot find ‘author’ references in single.php or index.

    b) I can only find author mentioned in code on the functions.php page.

I have tried to edit the functions page by removing parts of the code but it never works and just breaks the site.

Could somebody have a look at the code found on the link below and advise what I should do?

Oh….. and Merry Christmas (yup… I have to keep on working)

  • single.php should in theory be using the “loop template” – so check content.php instead of single.php. You should find the bio template code there.

Unless of course you are using a custom loop template – content-single.php perhaps etc.. Give those a look. 🙂

    Merry Christmas!
