[resolved] Remove BackWPup user roles (9 posts)

Is it possible to remove/disable the automatically generated "BackWPup" user roles?

I'm using the S2Member plugin to deal with user roles and registration, so it's just cluttering the user roles dropdown, and confusing my client.

    Thanks!

Same question here. Does someone know the trick?

    Thank you!

@esmi Uhm, it's the very same question...... thus it's not unusual to continue the topic as seen here with many other topics. Or should each user open his/her own individual thread for the same question? Please advice.

Yes, please. That's precisely how these forums work. :-)

@esmi Since I know forums in the internet (20+ years), they work the way users shape them according to their needs. And particularly here on wordpress.org I encounter a lot of threads continued even after a pause of years. If problems are unsolved for a long time, often enough a solution turns up years later and helps others.

I do not see your point. But you are the forum mod, and I am not. You win.

@dave, in the next version i have removed the BackWPup user roles from the default WordPress user role list. I hope that will help.
