    Hello

    I want to remove the background-color and border from the image attachment page on my site: http://www.geimaku.com/20/05/2012/test-post-with-screenshots/newuploads_2012_0410_856b22a9bcd486e13681e541ffc47097_re6_captivate_0002/

    You know, the darker color that is behind the image.

    But I seem to be unable to do so??? Can't find the id?

    Thanks.

    I think the image attachment style is being defined in the twentyeleven style sheet:

    .image-attachment div.attachment {
         -moz-border-bottom-colors: none;
         -moz-border-image: none;
         -moz-border-left-colors: none;
         -moz-border-right-colors: none;
         -moz-border-top-colors: none;
         background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #F9F9F9;
         border-color: #DDDDDD;
         border-style: solid;
         border-width: 1px 0pt;
         margin: 0pt -8.9% 1.625em;
         overflow: hidden;
         padding: 1.625em 1.625em 0pt;
         text-align: center;
    }

    You may need to copy that to your child theme css and then modify it to meet your needs.
