remove “alt” from uplaoded images?

    Would anyone know how to prevent WordPress from adding a default “alt” tag to the images that are uploaded? I want to define my own alt tag, but it’s causing my pages to be invalid because WordPress is inserting an alt tag automatically.

    I’m an idiot. All you have to do is type in what you want for the alt text in the “title” section, right before you hit the “Upload image” button. Duh.
