I wish to remove every post from a certain category, but without deleting the category or posts. Is this possible?

    - Select your posts
    - Were it says "Bulk actions"-... choose "Edit"
    - Clic "Apply"
    - Unclic the undesired category
    - "Update"

    Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback. When I go to unclick the desired category, I can't as they are all in other different categories too.

I see. I've always done it to add a category, not to remove.

I see the the "quick edit" function works though, but if you have many posts it'd take long as you have to go one by one :S.

Well, you could delete the category and then recreate it.

It would be recreated empty and you could always reassign your posts' categories with the bulk editing function.
