   In the HoPE theme, is it easy to remove one of the side columns? I prefer a 2 column layout, but this theme is beautiful.

   Yes its simple enough to change it to a two-column theme.

   You just need to edit sidebar.php and remove the closing div of id="sidebar-1" and the opening div of id="sidebar-2" which will make it one sidebar. Then in style.css edit the content, secondary (this is the width for 2 sidebars so you will only need to make it the same as sidebar with padding) and sidebar id’s width to compensate for the extra space.

   Looking for help on putting the main nav below the main image instead of to the left?

   Sorry for the late reply. I am a fan of a single sidebar and I was looking into removing the second one.
