   Hi all,

   I am a novice to wordpress and I am trying to set up some categories. I deleted a category and all the products as the URLs weren't working and I wanted to start afresh.

   Now the boxes slug has become boxes-2 how can I delete the original boxes slug (which I can't see anywhere)? Any help would be gratefuly received. I am using the Permalink structure:

   /%category%/%postname%/

   Which I presume is good for an e-commerce site?

   @moxsea The fastest, and best way to get some help is to create your own topic.

   But to answer your question, a "-2" after your slug is because you still have another post/page with the same slug in your database. Make sure to clear any trashed posts/pages, as those still count.
