    Hello.

Is it possible to post directly to WordPress using a remote application, i.e. not through the admin interface, using the API?

If not through the API, is there any other method of direct posting?

    Thanks!

You can post by emailing, it's in the admin area somewhere ;)

    Thanks for the suggestion.

What I really need to do is connect directly over the Internet.

Does anyone know if the API facilitates that?

    Thanks.

I think you can do it with some services, WP uses XMLRPC, or whatever it's called.

Have you checked the codex? It's the "Docs" link above.

    Thanks; xml-rpc looks ideal.

I haven't been able to locate the full xml-rpc documentation; is there any and if so where?

    Thanks!
