  • Hi Rolf,

thanks for the info. Is there any way to adapt the plugin to redirect to the new API? Or will the entire plugin be useless from now on?

If that’s the case, do you have any tips for plugins that could be used instead of this one? I love the simplicity of the plugin, so I would be sad to let it go.

    Hi Quelake,

I had found a few plugins that use the new Twitter API but they all display a timeline, instead of just the plain simple ‘last tweet’.
Alternatively you can embed the standard Twitter widgets. Go to your twitter dashboard. This might be the easiest for you.

I have abondoned this plugin. Instead, I have developed recently a central REST service that collects and caches the latest x tweets using the new Twitter API and serves it securely on request to my websites/services on various platforms/languages (e.g. php programs on the server, js scripts on the client and js scripts on a node.js). This is a custom solution and I do not know how to make it avail to everyone yet.

    Rolf.
