    My WordPress website http://www.compukol.com is using the Relevanssi plugin. The site seem very sluggish and a look at the website log reveals a MySQL database problem related to the Relevanssi plugin.
    Here is the line from the log file:

    [08-Nov-2012 16:59:10] WordPress database error Unknown column 'user_id' in 'field list' for query INSERT INTO wp_relevanssi_log (query, hits, user_id, ip) VALUES ('\"using twitter at your events\"', 0, 1, '96.56.246.34') made by require('wp-blog-header.php'), wp, WP->main, WP->query_posts, WP_Query->query, WP_Query->get_posts, apply_filters_ref_array, call_user_func_array, relevanssi_query, relevanssi_do_query, relevanssi_update_log, W3_Db->query

    Please advise a fix to these problems ASAP.

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    This is caused by an incomplete update, which hasn't updated the MySQL database. Usually deactivating the plugin and reactivating it again will help, but in some unusual MySQL setups a manual adjustment to the database may be necessary to add the missing columns.

    This is happening to me as well. Disabling and re-activating didn't help.

    In that case I would recommend reinstalling the plugin from scratch.

    (I also recommend starting a new thread, instead of re-using old threads.)
