Release my WordPress News Theme?

Hi everyone. Just looking for some feedback. I’ve worked a long time on getting my site fake news site (http://thenationalprotrusion.com/) to look like a real news site. I used Thesis for a while (which I loved), but then made the jump to creating my own theme. It’s now up and running pretty much how I want. My question is, do you think a basic version of the theme (not really customizable) be useful to people? I’m thinking of creating an options panel and let users customize it extensively, but that might take me forever, and I wondered if, in the meantime, it might be cool to release the less fancy version. Anyway, any thoughts/feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
