Release 6.1.0. has issues

    Dear sealsystems,

    I have upgraded to the new version 6.1.0. There a severe issues with it. Just to mention to most visible once:

    • image of app store is not displayed anymore in the full page of the product
    • screenshots are not displayed anymore

    I need to upload the previous version. Can you tell me where I can find it? I didn’t backed up. I need to upload it to get my website up and running again.

    I had some troubles, but after cleaning cache in utiilities and resetting featured images (there is a new function in utilities), my website is up and running. I had to use “add featured images”, it took a while to reupload images and now everything is ok. Don’t forget to clean cache if you’re using WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache.

    OK, thanks for the advice.
    In the meantime I have found the 6.0.5. version and installed it again. Back to the normal again. I will have to test the new version on a test server.

    Thanks AsianDoma, yes rebuilding the cache is the fix. I put that in the release notes, but WordPress needs a better way to inform users of important changes like that.

    Perhaps I will find a way to detect the update and pop up a big note on the Dashboard screen.
