Hi, I wanted to know how your plugin decides the relation of the related posts.
Which is the relation – priority? (how does it exaclty calculate the relation to the post?)
    Category, Tag, Text ?
It often happens that in related post there are posts not really related with and other missing, that are much more in relation with arguments and tags…

Knowing the mechanism perhaps I can “help” the plugin to associate the correct ones… 😉

    Thanks,
    Congrats for the plugin!

  • Hey Maximillian!

Well, our aggregator indexes the RSS feed of your blog and then does all the work analyzing the text inside it. It searches for relevant keywords, texts, tags and so on.

It also takes a few days (maximum two or so) for all the related posts to be clicked through, since it only indexes those blog-posts when they are visited by a reader. In other words: once the related post is clicked, we index it, and give better results then. It’s a pretty fast process actually.

It’s also worth noting that some non-English blogs are harder for us to analyze than others. Could this be the problem on your side? We’d love help you out, if possible!

Looking forward to your reply! Take care & have a nice day!

    Best,
    Silvo
