Registration mail are not being send

    I tried to register on my website’s wordpress login page with another email to check wheather users can register or not.It says registration is completed but does not send email to registered user containing password.My website is hosted on cwahi.net with root access.Php mail function is enabled.What to do?? Please help .I am begineer
