Registration difficulties

My blog is at http://www.professionalopinions.com.au.
I am using a Yahoo hosted WordPress 2.04. When users go to register they go through the dialog box and are given the message that they will be mailed a password. It never happens.
Are there any suggestions as to how to deal with this? Yahoo are passing the buck saying it is a WordPress issue.
