Registering Users and allowing them to write (2 posts)

    Hi all,

I have a website, kinda CMS and Blog both.

CMS handles all the site pages and Blog is an "internal blog", where only I write.

Now, I am thinking to create a new blog within it, which would welcome users to come and write.

    Now four problems.

    1. How would I register them cleanly (any best plugin for that)
    2. How would I make them only write for the Blog that is just for them, without let them interfere with my site pages and the my "internal blog". I wish that when they login, they only see their profile details and the editor to write their blog. (Probably I will use More-Fields to create more fields for this new blog)?
    3. How to let them manage their profile, whose information, I took from them during registration. Moreover, a person can see their profile (with all the posts written by them) when one clicks on the author's name
    4. Being the moderator, I want to moderate all the posts written by them, before making it live

How to cater with all this and how to solve these tasks. I would be very thankful to you if you can mention any plugin(s), workflow, things to consider ... or anything.

    Many Many Thanks

    Hi people,

until now, I did the following.

Before I delve into details, here are the plugins that I used:-

    • Adminimize
    • Members
    • Profiler
    • More Fields

By making the registration to lead into the Contributer rights, I made the subscriber see only the minimum things. Things which I did't want him to see, I hid from Adminimize Plugin.

I made a new field with More Fields plugin, named as Blog, which would fill this New Blog content.

Profile helped me to make the profile.

Through Members, I allowed him to add the media through Contributor Login.

Any other suggestion, you want to make? I am not fully through actually. :(

    Best.
