   Please help with this. I'm writing a custom registration form and my only problem is that I can't seem to register the role of the new registered user.

   I check the table wp_options under option_name column which the value wp_user_roles. It seems to be in array format.

   What action should I use with this? Any methods? As long I can add role subscriber that would be fine.
