Registered Users Area - for extra content (3 posts)

WordPress just gets stronger and stronger, IMO. The only reason I'm still using Joomla on some sites right now is because of the ability to set sections of the content for registered users only. So if you have a site with a members area, you can write content that only displays there.

That would be my No1 suggestion for 2.8 (already done the survey). Unless anyone knows of a way to do this already?

You can do that pretty easily by adapting your theme files, check if the user is logged in, then display the content. If you wish you can work with user levels too.

Plugins that do all that for you might be
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members-only/
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/hidepost/ (seems to be the simplest one)

    Thanks for the links, Mores.

The one that looks most useful is here:

I'll play around with it and see how it works.
