register form hacked

    my site has fell victim to an attack..the same person is using around 3 fake emails to constantly register on site to the point that their details have become enscribed into my sites register form..? is there a way to get rid of this ?

    im running a buddypress powered site with a default bp template

    all plugins etc are up to date.
