I’ve got the lastest version of Nextgen. And I noticed after moving my site yesterday, that some info was missing in my database.

I had to go in and edit the database manually, but I think I deleted a few things of Nextgen as well.
I did my work en ‘post_meta’.

The reason I think this; none of my galleries work, even though they do show up in ‘manage galleries’. The new or old shortcodes don’t work, and when I go into ‘gallery settings’ I just get empty drop-down boxes and stuff. No selectable options.

Is there a way to make Nextgen completely reset it’s entries in the database? Or is there a way to remove all the NGG entries in my database without affecting the other stuff in there?

I need it to repare itself :P.

@supervinnie40 – There is no standard method for repairing the tables NextGEN Gallery creates/uses nor for correcting any entries in the three other database tables that NextGEN Gallery writes to.

You may need to manually remove all of those entries now and start fresh with NextGEN Gallery which also means you will loose all of the gallery / image references throughout your site. Although you should be able to import the existing gallery folders to regain the images, you will almost certainly need to re-insert each and every gallery/album for them to re-appear on your site.

    – Cais.

PS: If you have a back-up of your site prior to the modifications you made to the database I would suggest using that then updating to our latest beta version to see if that will sort out the issue. C.
