redirect/permalink problems… help

Hope someone can please help. We have a couple of wordpress blogs setup, and a few under supdomains. when you view comments, several are displayed, but when you click on Previous Comments I get this..
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://thatspeaker.com//439/im45-challengeme/comment-page-1/#comments”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page. Our hosting company can’t help us. I noticed after thatspeaker.com there is //. if in the space between you put %20. it will take you to the right page. what do we do.? This happens on all of our blogs.
