Redirecting permalinks from a subdomain to the root of my site (1 post)

    Hi,
Basically my site redirects from http://mysite.com/ to http://mysite.com/free-entertainment/ but this is annoying, so I'm going to start a fresh install (of wordpress) in the root directory.
I will need to (301) redirect all the old links to the new ones, i.e.: http://mysite.com/free-entertainment/PERMALINK will redirect to http://mysite.com/PERMALINK
How do I use htaccess/wordpress to "chop out" the "/free-entertainment" part of the URL automatically?

    Thanks in advance
