I used “Sidebar Login” widget instead this one because it allowed me for more options:

    – Login in/out: no redirection, user stays in the same page
    – input boxes automatically adjust to widget area
    – my language was included and used by default with my WP settings

However I realize that there is a serious issue that makes Sidebar Login useless and I came back again to this one. However to make it work, I need to resolve some serious issues:

    1. My site is WP Multisite and while loging out, user is redirected to the different site (the one I created first)! Basically this plugin lacks of so basic option like: stay on current site after log in/out!

    2. Input field has a fixed size and stands out, because my widget area is smaller. It can be easy to fix by using “width: auto” instead fix px amount but I don’t know where to make that change. Besides, with so customizable themes out there it’s more reasonable to make this field auto adjust instead of fixed size by default in next updates. Thanks!

    3. I see some po and mo files in .zip so it means I can easily translate this plugin. However after installation I see no “woocommerce my account” folder in plugin folder so I have no idea where to put translated po and mo files. In which direction is this plugin installed?

Currently I am left with no options :(. This plugin is useless if I don’t fix the issues mentioned above. Alternative is also useless without email login.

Hope to fix this problems soon. Thanks :).

    Hi Michaldybczak,

    Thank you for your suggestions.

The plugin should be installed inside the directory /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-my-account-widget/ but this depends on your configuration.

If you need to change the input size of the box you can always add some custom css to your theme.

We will review your other suggestions and we will see what options will fit best for the plugin.

    Best regards
    Bart

I put the plugin manually into direction you gave me. Automatic install puts it god knows where. All other plugins are in plugin folder so it’s weird that it installs itself somewhere else. Anyway, problem fixed manually :).

I use your plugin and was able to translate it now when I know where po and mo files are.
The only problems are the size of the input box (I widened widget area so it fits now but I would prefer to have it smaller thou) and logging out to the main network site (I adjusted main site so now it all looks like a singular installation on the front end and redirecting to it is not so painful as it was, still: login in puts customers outside shop and login area).

I am not skilled in css so I don’t know how to write, how to name the file and where to put it, to make custom css as you mentioned.

And while we’re at some ideas, your competition has a simple way to add certain links to the widget area, for example:

    I put: Reset password|link_to_proper_site

and it placed Reset password link. It’s a nice feature. I wouldn’t mind if you borrowed it ;P.

Will be looking forward for next updates.

We’ve put this to our todo list and we’ll have a look at it if it is possible to integrate it in our plugin.
