Redirecting a page to the latest post

    Hi, can anyone help.

    VERY new to WordPress and have been developing my own theme over the past couple of days. Essentially i’m building a website with a news (blog) section.

    Because the them I’ve developed doesn’t support custom menus (not sure how to do that), I’ve created an empty page called ‘news’, added that to the navigation and then when a user clicks on it, I’d like that link to navigate to the LATEST post.

    Is this possible?

    OR would it be easier to update my theme to support custom menus?
