Redirected Server

    Since a server move under pressure I have the following situation on my WP server:
    DNS Server has a 301 Redirect to my WP server IP – no A record!
    Home URL is pointing to IP address
    Site URL is pointing to IP address
    Everything works fine so far, but some of our users feel strange about replacement of our domain name by IP address in the URL path on our WP site.
    To correct things the right way: can I simply replace my DNS redirect by an A record and at the same time change Home and Site URL settings to the correct domain name? I guess not, but what else can be done to get things the right way. Everything remains in place, it’s just pointing.

    in WP admin you should only put URL. and the URL goes to the server IP is the DNS you can configure on your DNS settings. In short in your WP admin panel you don’t have to put IP (if I am correct)
