Redirect WordPress home to Magento home (integration)

I have WordPress integrated into my Magento site using fishpig’s integration and I have been trying to redirect my Magento home page (when someone goes to my home url) to my integrated (fishpig.co.uk) wordpress blog home page instead.

I have a Parallex theme on my wordpress and I want that to be the first page people see when they go to my site. Then when they want to buy something they can click on a button that says “go to the online store” and it will go to the Magento home page.

I have been trying to do this in .htaccess (which I’m only somewhat familiar with) but everything I’ve tried to add to .htaccess isn’t working.

Does anyone have some suggestions on how to achieve this?
