• I am working on a site which is being moved to a new domain. The site at the old domain will be deleted and the old url pointed to the new url. In the reconstruction the page configurations will change, so the pages on the old site will not (in most cases) be reflected in the new site. I am thinking that, since the old domain will now point to the new domain and (as I understand it) anyone — including search engines — that comes to the site via the old domain will actually see the site listed as the old domain (since it will be pointing to the same dns as the new domain). If this is correct, search engines will expect to see the old page structure on the new site.

I am trying to figure out how to add redirects from the “old domain/page name” to the appropriate new page. Am I missing something here or is this something that can’t be done via the plug-in?

    TIA
