Pretty Link Lite
[resolved] Redirect URLs with a backslash (3 posts)

    Situation:
iTunes screwed up my feed link. Since I already use (and love) Pretty Link Lite, I thought I would use it to create a 301 redirect and fix it.

    Goal:
    Redirect website.com/podcast/feed to website.com/category/podcast/feed

    Issue:
Pretty Link Lite sees "podcast/feed" as "podcast".

How do convince Pretty Link Lite to use the backslash section?

    Thanks for the help,

    Josh

So you entered: http://website.com/category/podcast/feed into your Target URL and podcast/feed as your Pretty Link slug? And it didn't work for you?

Pretty Link should support slashes in slugs (I just tested it in my development environment and it worked fine).

    Is this what's happening?

I'll play with it some more. I fixed my core problem another way.
