I have created a sub-domain blog, but it doesn't work properly at all because it is getting redirected to a subfolder at the site.
http://tech.site.com is redirected to http://site.com/info/tech
I have no pages set up for that name, nor any entries in the domains DNS-settings.
Other blog subdomains are working properly, as far as I have experienced by now, except this one.
What and where should I start to look to figure out why this subdomain is redirecting?

If other blog sub-domains are working then check the vhost configuration on your web server and the DNS entry. It may be that http://tech.site.com/ is not going to the right web server instance.
Also check on your control panel (like if you have cpanel or plesk, look there).
And check there's no physical folder on the server with either of those names.
