   How can I redirect

   http://www.site.com/archives/2005/12 to http://www.site.com/2005/12

   why:
   my old MT blog is cached by google with this archive format
   /archive/2005/12

   I think I could do with htaccess file but Im not sure how.
   Please help. Im missing so many hits.
