   I have multisite set up and everything is great except ... when I map a new domain it only works when I have the "www" in front of the domain ... if I don't it redirects to a page asking if I wish to register a new domain.

   Whether I type in mydomain.com or http://www.mydomain.com I would like it to always be directed to the http://www.mydomain.com ...

   It looks like on the main install ... the domain that I have multisite installed under the opposite is occurring where http://www.rootmultisitedomain.com, if typed in browser, goes to rootmultisitedomain.com

   Tried playing around with a few things but no luck yet.

   Any ideas? Had trouble finding a solution online / in forum.

   map the non-www version to the site as well, make the www version the primary.
