excelinrisk.net looks like the live site
excelinrisk.com is a free domain name
Do you want people who go to excelinrisk.com to end up on excelinrisk.net or the other way round?
Yes, excelinrisk.net is the live site so I need the wordpress blog to be redirected to it. So I would like people to go to excelinrisk.net to get to the blog. I would think it would be “excelinrisk.net/wordpress? That is how it was when it was “.com”
Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it!!
Bridget
Was the “old” one on WordPress.COM?
The link was “excelinrisk.com/wordpress”
So I thought it would be easy to change the link to “excelinrisk.net/wordpress”
I’ve searched for tutorials on this but haven’t found my situation.
Thanks so much!
Bridget
Use htaccess to redirect the website.
it is just 1 line code for 301 redirect.
Thanks
Thanks Aquaa.
Is I’m not a coder at all. Would you be able to tell me the steps to do this or should I hire a coder to do it? I built the site using Photoshop and Dreamweaver but never had to code anything. So, I”m blind when it comes to this part of it. :O(
Yes sure.
Can you email me at [link removed]
I can help you with it.
Thanks
@aquaa – please keep help on these forums – do not ask people to email you.
@bridget61 – we do not recommend emailing people you do not know from a public forum
Advice taken. Thank you. I appreciate your concern. :O)
@wpyogi – I am just trying to help the person. And i am new to wordpress forums . I do not know the rules.
THanks
Thanks Aquaa, I understand. I just need the steps to redirect my blog as I am not a coder at all. If you can put the steps here in the support section, it would be helpful.
Thank you!

@amubrar20, it should be apparent that by providing support via email you are depriving the WordPress community (people who use these forums) of that support.
please keep help on these forums
