[resolved] Redirect Loop (5 posts)

I have just installed WordPress 2.7. My admin section works fine and the blog was working until I selected a permalink option that wasn't the default. Now from /blog where WordPress is set up Safari returns a redirect loop:

"Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.../blog/”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page."

I have reset the permalinks to default, and I when I view the blog through the theme viewer it works. Does htaccess need changing? At the moment it reads:

    # BEGIN WordPress

    # END WordPress

    Help!

EDIT I am storing and running WordPress from the same directory /blog

Solved. Speak to your host about mod_rewrite if you suffer similar.

I have the same issue, was there ever a resolution?

I got this when upgrading from the following

    2.3.3 to 2.5.0
    2.3.3. to 2.5.1
    2.3.3. to 2.6.5

    What to do?
