Redirect blog page to most recent permalink

On the site I’m working on, I have a static page for the front page. The blog is on a different page. What I want to do is have the blog page redirect to the permalink of the most recent post of the category it’s in.

Under the Blogs menu item, there are two sub items. When I click on the Grammar Check item, I want to be directed to the permalink of the most recent post in the Grammar Check category. The same for the Write Stuff menu item – I want to be taken to the permalink of the latest Write Stuff post.

Is this possible?
