Redirect all subpages (except wp-admin)

I have a couple of old urls and want all the pages and subpages to redirect to the new master home page. So all the blogs, about, etc etc just redirect to the new home page. (Not the matching page.) I can’t seem to read exactly how to do this. Help.
I started off by doing this in the cpanel but then I lose the ability to get to the wp-admin sites bc those were redirected also. I still want to access the backend but the rest of the pages all be forwarded to the new home page.
