Recurring themes breaking error in Dashboard and blank site (6 posts)

Every once in a while - sometimes days apart, sometimes minutes apart - my site ( http://www.blogocenricity.com ) goes blank.

When I log in to my Dashboard, I see this error message:
"ERROR: The themes directory is either empty or doesn’t exist. Please check your installation."

I just select and activate my theme, Origin, and everything is back to normal.

Maybe something my host does on a recurring basis breaks stuff? I host with Dreamhost.

Any pointers to fix this will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I see your site is down. not blank page. The theme you using is broken. Try activating default theme.

    Aargh - sorry!

My link was wrong. It should have been http://www.blogocentricity.com

    Cheers,

I'm sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme's vendors.

This issue repeats whatever theme I use - even the default theme.

It doesn't seem to be related to any specific theme.

Try checking your server's error log.
